Winter Reading Club 2020: Reading Is Sweet

Our Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory-themed decorations featured 3D endcaps drawn by my coworkers Miss Laura & Miss Kaitlin and painted by me. We included paper lantern and cellophane giant candies hung from the ceiling and a tulle cotton candy pillar. My favorite part was the scratch and sniff stickers on each endcap.

These jellyfish were a huge hit- they're paper lanterns with crepe paper, tissue paper, and ribbon tentacles.

Pool noodle and tissue paper coral by me and my coworker, Miss Kaitlin.

Book shelf endcaps with our favorite under-the-sea characters. They were drawn by my coworkers Miss Kaitlin and Miss Laura and I painted them:

The children's department (including a sunken shipwreck crow's nest).

The EAC leading back to our Summer Reading Club sign up area.

Writing Center & coloring area billboard by Miss Laura.

More of my favorite tissue paper and tulle streamers made into a seaweed patch.

Endcaps were drawn by Miss Laura and Miss Kaitlin then painted by me. The small "press here" pouches contain a recordable sound button like these, which have music recordings demonstrating the style of music.
